Bill Naylor
Wily Panda Studios

What does a person do when they have been a professional pilot their whole career and within an instant, they lose sight in one eye and need to retire? To say Bill Naylor did a complete turnaround is an understatement. He decided at age sixty-one he wanted to become a voice-over talent. He dove in without looking back and took voice lessons for the next handful of years to now have a successful career in voice-over acting.

His career started as a jet pilot flying Learjets. Bill transitioned into being a captain for Southwest Airlines, commanding 737 planes for 27 years. At age sixty-one Bill started taking classes at Voicetrax in the San Francisco Bay Area. Even after flying planes and being responsible for the lives of his passengers he acknowledged how terrifying it was to be in a room with a handful of people listening to him do voice-over. Listen to Bill’s incredible story of how he turned a dramatic life-changing event into an opportunity to follow his dream.
