Rod Rogahn did not take the usual path to becoming an attorney. His career started straight out of high school as he joined the United States Marine Corps and stayed enlisted for six years.
The time of service motivated him to get a college degree with the idea of becoming an officer in the Marines. While in school he was mentored by a law professor who opened him up to the possibility of becoming a lawyer. At that point his love of the law was established.
