Ann Affinito is a personal lifestyle management nutrition specialist and certified personal trainer who at the age of 52, has the body of a women in her 20’s! She’s an inspiration for 50+ers, both men and women who want to look and feel good at any age. Her motto is “younger next year”. Ann is a lead Coach at REV32 at Club Sport in Walnut Creek. In addition to this group class she works 1-on-1 with clients helping them achieve their wellness goals.
- Her goal is to get younger as she gets older
- Her lifestyle is what she does for a living
- Eat well and keep movement in your body
- Don’t do the same thing every day- change things up
- Sleep, Nutrition and Fitness 3 pillars of health
- Prioritize what’s important for you
- Exercise is important for sleep but not close to bedtime
- Find quiet time in your day- she gives examples
- Watch Alcohol and coffee if you want to sleep
- Be organized and prep the night before especially if you plan on working out in the morning
- Don’t get hung up on your age- look at ways you can grow younger
- Exercise with intensity- only way to make a real difference
- Taking heart rate up and down allows you to burn fat
- It’s important to exercise daily but you also need recovery time
